I’m pleased to announce that the recording of my recent 4 hour live online Gouache workshop is now available to buy, for a limited time only. This was recorded via zoom and links to the recording will be sent via email.
(Please note that email or padlet feedback on work will not be available with the recording and was specifically for initial workshop participants)
Great for beginners and those with a little more experience. In this workshop we will be exploring the possibilities of Gouache. One of the most versatile and beautiful of all paint mediums.
I will be showing how I create my landscape and sky paintings, step by step and with lots of exercises for participants to engage in. From colour mixing and working with a limited palette to mark making and direct/indirect observation.
Here are some of the focuses
Simplifying the landscape
Expressive Skies
Painting clouds
Using texture
Complimentary colours

My approach to painting is straightforward and my style of teaching, interactive and clear. Feedback on participants work will be given after and during the workshop via padlet
